Step one: Create a user profile

Click here to navigate to our user portal to create a new user profile.

Information we'll ask for:

  • Your name, institutional affiliation (i.e. your employer or place of study), role, and contact details
  • The title of your proposed project, and a brief abstract describing your project's goals
  • Your project's scientific domain and field of study (i.e. subdomain) 
  • The date on which you plan to start your computational work
  • Details of how your project is funded (this will help determine whether you are eligible for an allocation from our Merit class)
  • Your previous experience with using High Performance Computing (HPC) systems
  • Who else will be working on the project
  • What software you intend to use
  • Whether you would like expert scientific programming support on your project

As part of your application, you can join an existing project or start a new project.

Your project application will be reviewed, after which you will be informed of the outcome.
