Apply for access to HPC

Step one: Create a user profile

We are launching a new HPC Portal, designed to make it easier for organisations to understand, approve and support the use of REANNZ HPC resources.

Our first organisations to use the new HPC Portal will be Public Research Organisations (PROs), i.e. Bioeconomy Science Institute, Earth Sciences New Zealand, Public Health and Forensic Science).

If you are not affiliated with a PRO, please create a user profile in my.nesi.org.nz.
If you are affiliated with a PRO, please create a user profile in our new HPC portal.

If you are unsure where to create your new user profile, send us an email and we're happy to chat with you.

Step two: Apply for access

Once you’ve created a user profile, you can then apply for access to REANNZ HPC and storage resources. As part of your application, you can join an existing project or start a new project.

If you are not affiliated with a PRO, you will apply for access in my.nesi.org.nz.
If you are affiliated with a PRO, you will apply for access in our new HPC portal.

What happens next?

Your project application will be reviewed, after which you will be informed of the outcome.
