News and Events Call for Submissions: eResearch NZ / eRangahau Aotearoa Calling all researchers, developers, research support staff, and digital infrastructure team members! The eResearch NZ / eRangahau Aotearoa Conference is seeking submissions of lightning talks, posters, presentations, Birds-of-a-Feather, and workshops. eResearch NZ / eRangahau Aotearoa is the leading conference for research communities in Aotearoa New Zealand. This is your chance to showcase your projects, share insights, and learn from other researchers, decision-makers, innovators, and communities exploring the ways digital tools and methods can advance research outcomes. View the Call for Submissions. 2026 Conference Theme Our conference theme is Are You Ready?, reflecting rapid advances we’ve seen over the past 12 months across the breadth of the eResearch domain: the importance of AI-ready data sets, AI-driven disruption to research practices and methods, the rapid deployment of Trusted Research Environments, the need for systems that support Indigenous Data Governance, the ever-increasing capabilities delivered by high performance computational platforms, not to mention major structural changes to the research landscape of Aotearoa New Zealand. Our Call for Submissions is built around four key pillars: Ready for Partnership – Speakers exploring and celebrating what best practice looks like for embedding Te Tiriti within both eResearch activities and broader research partnerships. Ready for Innovation – Enablers / infrastructure work streams discussing the trends and/or showcasing how researchers are using developments in technology to further their research. Ready for Community – Speakers from a range of disciplines focused on retaining and developing talent, and building communities of practice. Ready for Anything – Speakers from a range of disciplines showcasing work from researchers operating at the cutting edge of their field. We welcome submissions from across the eResearch domain, whether you’re an early career genomics researcher, a seasoned climate modeller, a social scientist using digital methods, part of a research support team, a software developer, or a provider of digital infrastructure.What if you’re 'not ready'?We want to hear about that too!
