News and Events APAN Fellowship Program accepting applications Following the success of the APAN61 Fellowship Program, which enabled 20 fellows from 10 countries to participate in APAN61 in Bangladesh, the APAN62 Following the success of the APAN61 Fellowship Program, which enabled 20 Fellows from 10 countries to participate in APAN61 in Bangladesh, the APAN62 Fellowship Program is now open for applications. The objective of the APAN Fellowship Program is to promote global collaboration through participation in APAN meetings. By attending APAN meetings, Fellows have the opportunity to build connections with and learn from other students, researchers, engineers, and technology leaders. Fellowships are offered on a competitive basis. Students (graduates and undergraduates) and early-career researchers are encouraged to apply. Important Dates Call for Fellowship opens - Tuesday 10 March 2026 Call for Fellowship closes - Friday 27 March 2026 Member Country review - 6 – 17 April 2026 Fellowship Committee review - 22 – 29 April 2026 Announcement of selection - Monday 4 May 2026 Confirmation by selected Fellows - Friday 15 May 2026 Fellows attend APAN62 - 10-14 August 2026 Eligibility Full details on criteria and selection procedures are available at: https://apan.net/fellowship/ Highlights: Fellows must be available for the entire week of 10 – 14 August, with attendance on the first day being mandatory. Applicants with prior no-shows without notice will be automatically rejected under the Blacklisting Policy. Applications are encouraged from graduate and undergraduate students, as well as young researchers. Applicants presenting at APAN62 will receive priority consideration. Please note that presenting at APAN62 requires a separate submission under the Call for Presentation Proposals (to be issued later). Selection for fellowship does not guarantee acceptance as a presenter — both processes are managed independently. There will also be a conference component to APAN62.
