Finance Administrator

We are looking for a motivated Finance Administrator to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, the general focus of this role is to provide financial administration and support to the Assistant Accountant.

This is a newly created role and will be up to 20 hours per week and once trained and proficient with the systems and procedures, can be worked from home.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Accounts receivable functions

  • Accounts payable functions

  • Processing and coding bank entries, including GL reconciliation

  • General financial & back-office administration

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Administrator in an audited organisation

  • Previous experience in AP and AR, including familiarity with purchase orders

  • Hands on experience using accounting software

  • Intermediate MS Excel and Word skills (Adobe Acrobat desirable)

  • To be a true team player who roles up their sleeves and gets things done

  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills

  • Strong time management skills and an understanding of the importance of deadlines
