Welcome to KAREN…

There has been a lot of activity in the last six months with schools joining KAREN.  You can find the full list of KAREN Members here.

The National Education Network trial extension connected up two loops this year; the Mid Canterbury Loop with 23 schools and re-connected the Nelson Marlborough Loop’s 28 schools.

School clusters are also able to join KAREN independently. There are another 10 schools in the Nelson Marlborough Loop that connected. There are also two Christchurch schools from the GCSN that connected. Added to that are some individual schools around the country, Diocesan School for Girls, New Plymouth Boys’ High School and Scots College.
