Question/Issue: Status of briefings

For the avoidance of doubt, this confirms the briefings were informal and non-contractual at which no minutes were recorded.

Question/Issue: What are the Extreme SFP part numbers used by REANNZ

1000B-LX GBIC: Extreme Part no: 10052

1000B-ZX GBIC: Extreme Part no: 10053

Question/Issue: In the Switches RFP, the "information" box in Schedule 3, Clause 3.4 refers to L2/L3 features. Please clarify and confirm the L3 aspects and what is intended or requested b this reference.

L3 features are not required as part of the core minimum requirements in regard to the Core Network. L3 feature requirements are more related to the needs of switches that will be required to be supplied from a separate RFP to be issued shortly in regard to the creation of aggregation function that KAREN is to establish in support of connection of smaller users that require a higher level of management and control of ingress and egress of traffic to KAREN.

Question/Issue: Is it acceptable to provide a combined response to several RFP's and if yes, what is the acceptable "Response by" date?

Yes, it is acceptable to offer a combined response to a combination of RFP's. However, Tenderers must submit individual RFP responses as well. The response date for a combined response to more than one RFP is 4pm, 10 December 2009.
